said Edward Green shall render a Just and True acctt of all Lib. H. D. such Wrecks Drifts Whales or other Royall fish as either heretofore or for the future have or shall come into his pos session Whereof an Advantage or benefitt unto him the sd Edward Green hath at any time heretofore been made or hence forward shall be made unto his Matys Court of Vice Admity on the Eastern shoar & pay such pt thereof unto his Matys Recevr genll without fraud or Covin as unto his Maty by law shall become due & unto the Vice Admirall what shall be his due then the above Obligation to be Voyd Otherwise to stand and remaine in full force and Virtue. Maryland ss. Know all men by these prsents that we Thomas Collier, p. 2t3 Henry Jowles Esqr and ffrancis Collier are holden and firmly bound unto his Excy ffrancis Nicholson Esq. his Matys Capt genll and Chiefe Govr of this Province in the full and Just Suffle of one Thousand pounds of Lawfull money of England to be payd to the said ffrancis Nicholson Esqr his heires Exrs Admrs or Assignes to the which paymt well and truly to be made we bind our Selves and either of us by himselfe our and Either of our heires Exrs and Admrs Jointly and Sevrally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these prsents Wittness our hands & Seales this 22d day of August Annoq Dni 1695. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that Whereas his Excy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr aforesd hath Comissionated and Appointed the sd Thomas Collier to be Navall Officer for the Port of WmStadt and Rideing Surveyor within all Limits and prcincts of the five Countyes lying on the Eastern shoar within the sd Province by his Comission bearing equall Date with these prsents. Now if the said Thomas Collier shall well and truly ?forme his Duty in the Managemt of the two said Offices according to the Laws of England and shall observe the sevrall Acts of Assembly of this Province and the directions Sett down in two Certeine Proclamations bearing Dates the 17th day of August Instant touching the Trade of Pensilvania and the other bearing Date the Twentieth of the sd month relateing to the Gauge of Tobbacco hhds &c. and from time to time Save defend and Keep harmless the said ffrancis Nicholson Esqr from all Damages Loss and Charges that he the sd ffrancis Nicholson Esqr shall Susteine att any time by reason of the sd Colliers non pformance of the sd Offices so long as he shall enjoy the Same as in the said Severall Laws
