         p.     212 Know all men by these prsents that we Edward Green and

             John Edmundson of the Province of Maryland gent. are holden

             & firmly bound unto his Excy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr his Matys

             Capt generall and Vice Admirall of the Same in the full and

             Just Sume of five hundred pounds of Lawfull money of Eng

             land to the which paymt well and truly to be made unto the

             sd ffrancis Nicholson his heires Exrs admrs or Assignes we bind

             our selves and each of us our and either of our heires Exrs and

             Admrs in the whole and for the whole firmly by these prsents

             as Wittness our hands and Seales this Twenty first day of

               The Condition of this Obligacon is Such that Whereas the

             above bound Edward Green hath by his humble petition to his

             sd Excy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr in Councill humbly sett forth

             that liveing Convenient to the Sea bord side in Sumersett

             County & owning most part of the Marshes, Sand banks and

             breakers of the maine Sea so farr as the Limitts of the said

             County Extends therefore prayd a Comission might be given

             him for the Seizing all Wrecks thither Comeing & Condemn

             able as also to look after all Whales & other Royall fish which

             at Any time may happen to be driven and Call up there with

             Liberty of Trying Oyle what Can be gott of the bluber of the

             Same which being granted it is hereby provided that if the
