            Warrant at the Meeting of the Assembly And upon inquiry

            made it was answered that the said Writs should issue in the

            Assembly time.

           Mr Wilsons Came Mr Ephraim Wilson according to Sum

                   mons, who being asked concerning what Return he

            as were not makes touching finding out such persons as were not

            taken in the  .

            List of taken in the list of Taxables & collecting their

            Taxabies Leavy's &ca pursuant to Order of Councill issued

            the 18th of October past, to wch the said Wilson Answers that

            the said Order never came to his hands during his Shrivalty

            but that he has procured a Copy of the said Ordr now & will

            be accountable accordingly.

            Sherriff of Ordered that the Sheriff of each Respective

            each County    .  .

            Ordrdto County wth in this Province make inquiry what per

            quir of the sons are Empower'd or Commission ated to Range

             for wild horses, And that the said Sherriffs learn and

            have been inform themselves by the best Means & Wayes they

            taken up & how dis- can, what wild horses have been taken up since his

            posed of Exncies Arrivall & how disposed off, and that notice

               be given to all such Rangers & other persons rang-

            rivall & tht ing & taking up wild horses, hogs or Lattle, as well

            future they with as without Lycense, that for the future they

            surcease in altogether Surcease & forbear ranging for and taking

           taking up the  same &ca up any Wild horses, hogs or Cattle, not properly

                   belonging to themselves, vnder paine and perill that

            shall fall thereon, hereby comanding the said Sherriffes to

            make due Returne unto this Board by the Second day of

            October next, how they shall have Executed this Order.

            first Accot whereof was made up the 22d day of May & the

            later the 20th of August following Anno 1695 the Tenor

            whereof ran in these Words Vizt

            Esqr     You are pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this

            Platers warrt from Province passed the day of June Anno 1692:

            the Govr to intituled an Act to the Act for the Settlemt of an

             Annuall Revenue upon their Mats Governr wth in this

                   Province for the time being, being an Impost of 3d

            hhd upon every hhd of Tobacco exported And by vertue

            of an Order of Councill this day to pay unto me the sume of

            two hundred twenty seaven pounds Eight Shillings & three

            farthings sterl: for which this shall be your Sufficient Warrt
