             Ridgleys

             Rect for a Exncy the Governr one Barrll of Gun powdr by Con

             Barrell of tents one hundred weight of Powder & that the

             powdr  same shall be turned at least once a month by me

      

             or my Order and it shall not be broke or Embezel'd or made

             use off, and the sd quantity of powdr I shall be always Ready &

             answerable to his for the Same when thereunto Required,

              Their Excellencies the Lords Justices

      

                          in Councill.

      

             Sr Thomas Vpon the Report of the Rt Honrble the Lords of

             dismissed

             from the the Comittee of Trade and Plantations this day made

             Complaint at the Board, that they had Considered the Answer

             and accusa

             tion of the of Sr Thomas Laurance Secretary of his Mats proW

             Governmt vince of Maryland to Certain heads of a Charge and

      

             Accusation Exhibited against him by the late Governr &

             Councill of that province.

          p. 21  That no Person appears in behalfe of the Government of

             Maryland to prossecute the sd Accusation.

               That the Sr Thomas Laurence is at present authorized

             by the Governr Councill and Assembly of that province to

             Sollicite the publick Affairs of the province here in England.

               And that the Genll Assembly of Maryland have declared all

             the proceedings there against Sr Thomas Laurance upon the

             sd Complaints, to have been Malicious, Arbitrary and Illegall,

             and have Ccrtifycd the sd Sr Thomas Laurence to be a very

             Loyall Subject to his Maty and of Sincerity and integrity in

             his proceedings.

               Their Excellencies in Councill are pleased to Orddr that the

             sd Complaint and Accusation against Sr Thomas Laurence be

             dismist from before this Board and the Same is hereby dismist

             accordingly
