The Condition of this Obligation is such that whereas his said Exncy hath this day given & granted unto the above bounden Thomas Meech a Comission to be Comander of the Speedwell of Maryland and therewith to Cruise on the Coast of Maryland and Pensilvania to prevent and hinder such False and illegal1 Traders doe or shall Trade on the Coast or into either of the said Provinces contrary to the Acts of trade & Navigation If therefore the above bounden Thomas Meech shall well & truly execute the severall powers and Authonityes to him therein given and granted and see the severall Acts of Trade & Navigation be duely kept & Observed without Fraude or Covin and doe well & truly prosecute Offenders and Offences age the said Acts or any of them and doe well and truly behave himself in the Execution of the severall powers and Authorityes by the said Cofnission given him And doe from time to time & at all times hereafter Serve and keep harmies & endemnified his said Exncy his heirs Exrs and Admrs for or by reason of Any Act or thing by the said Thomas to be done or performed or omitted to be done or performed by virtue of the Comission aforesaid Then this Obligation to be void & of none effect else to Stand in ffull force & virtue Signed Sealed & DeliveredThos Meech[Seale] in presence of us Robe Mason [Seale] Fd Randolph Philip Clarke [Seale] Hen Denton W. a full & Just Accot as neer as could be calculated from Mr Blakistons bookes & papers of the whole reuenue passing his hands since the Revolution to which accot I have made Oath & cannot forme any further or other Accot & for the list of Shiping they are in Mr Tenches hands which is all I can say in that poynt, however if the Accot by me already exhibited be mislayed & not at hand I am ready & shall be willing upon the least Notice given to have drawne out a fair Coppie of the same for his Exncies Satisfaction if required wch please to rep resent to his EXOCY as the full Answer of Sr yr humble Servt Elizabeth Blakiston
