Lib. H. U. is provided. You shall likewise take care that no Ship or Vessell comeing from England Ireland Wales or Berwick shall Load any of the enumerated Comodites Vizt Sugar, Tobacco, Cotton,Wooll, Indico, Ginger, Fustick, or other dying Wood before Certificate be produced from the Officers of some Custom House of England Wales or Berwick that Bond hath been there given with one Surety to the vallue of one thousand pounds if the Ship be of less burthen then One hundred Tunns, and of the Sum of two thousand pounds if the Ship shall be of greater burthen, that in case the said Ship or p. 169 Vessell shall load any of the said Commodities at any of the English Plantations that the same commodities shall be by the said Ship or Vessell brought to some Port of England or Wales or to the Town of Berwick upon Tweed and be there unloaden & put on Shoare the danger of the Seas only excepted. And in like manner that no other Ship or Vessell wch by law may trade in any of their Majte Plantations be per mitted to load on board any of the said Commodities comeing from any other Port or place untill Bond be given to the Governr in manner and to the vallue aforesd, that such Ship or Vessell shall carry all the said goods loaden on board to some of their Majtes English Plantations or to England Wales or Barwick And if any such Ship or Vessell shall load or take on board, any of the said Comodities untill such bond be given to the Governor or Certificate producd from the Officers of some Custom house of England Wales or Berwick that such Bond hath been there duly given or wch contrary to the tenor of such Bond shall carry the sd goods to any port or place wtsoever then such other English Plantations or to England Wales or Berwick and there lay the same on Shoare every such Ship or Vessell shall be forfeited wth her Gunns Tackle and apparrell and you shall doe your outmost endeavor to find out seize and prossecute the same accordingly. 3dly If any Ship or Vessell wch by law may trade in any of their Majtes Plantacons shall Ship and take on board any of the aforesd Comodites or cacoe and that Bond shall not be first given with one sufficient surety to bring the same to England Wales or Berwick and to no other place and there to unload and put the same on shoare (the danger of the Seas only excepted) there shall be answered & paid for so much of the said Comodities as shall be laden and put on board such Shipp or Vessell the severall rates and dutyes mentioned in the said Act to be leveyed collected & paid at such places and to such Collectrs & other Officers as shall be appointed to collect leavy & receive the same before the unlading thereof and under such penalties both to the Officers and upon the goods as for non payment of or defrauding their Majtes of their Customs in
