             demnifye of Maryland and Robert Mason of Snt Maries

                  ng County Gentl are holden and firmly bound unto his

             a Permit Exncy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr Capt Genll & Governr

             &ca in Chief of this their Mats Province of Maryland in

      

             the full sume of ffive hundred pounds good and Lawfull

             Money of England to be paid to the said ffrancis Nicholson

             his heirs or Successors Governrs of Maryland To the which

             paymt well and truly to be made Wee bind ourselves our

             heirs Exrs and Admrs Joyntly and Severally for & in the

             Whole firmly by these prsents Sealed with our Seales and

             dated this day of November Anno Dom 1694

               The Condicön of this Obligacon is such that whereas the

             above menconed ffrancis Nicholson Esqr Governr of Maryland

             as afd hath this day granted Unto the aboue bound Sr Thomas

             Laurence a pmitt to transport himselfe out of this Province

             with directions to all Mars of Ships or other Vessells that they

             may Safely Transport the said Sr Thomas Laurence as afd In

             as much as his said Exncy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr had taken

             sufficient caution & Security for the paymt of such Debts (if

             any) as the said Sr Thomas Laurence doth owe in this Pro

             vince According to the Act of Assembly of this Province If

             therefore the said S' Thomas Laurence and Robert Mason or

             either of them their heirs or Assigns shall in all respects In

             dempnifye his said Exncy ffrancis Nicholson Esqr for his grant

             ing the said pmitt or Lysence To the said Sr Thomas

             Laurence According to the Tennor of the said Act of Assembly

             that then this Obligacon shall be void or Else to stand in full

             force and virtue in Law.

               Bond to Clarke & Robert Mason of the Province of Mary

             EXnCY Francis Nicholson Esqr Their Mats Capt Gen” and Chief

             Governr of this Province in the full & just sume of one

             Thousand pounds of Lawfull Money of England to be paid to

             the said ffrancis Nicholson Esqr his Exrs Admrs or Assignes to

             the which payment Well and truly to be made, We bind our

             selves & either of Us by himselfe our & either of our heires

             EXTS & Admrs Joyntly & severally for the Whole and in the

             Whole firmly by these presents Witness our hands and Seales
