             Comission       —. -

             pduced & Chancery Comission, forme of the Oath to be taken

             approved by the persons therein constituted Comissionrs as

     

       Whitehaib     to be :hewed also forme of the Oath to be taken by the Register

             to the Attor- of the said Court, the which were Read approved

   neys &Ca

                   off and delivered to Mr Attorney Gen to shew the

             Same to the Rest of the Attorneys & Officers of the CoTt for

             their Approbation Also

     

                             Post Meridiem

     

              Produced again by Mr Attorney Genll the Chancery Corn-

      Whitehall mission which was Signed by his Exncy in Councill & passed

             the Broad Seale of the Province

     

     

                     Afterwards the honble Coll Henry Jowles Chan

                   celor Kenelm Cheseldyn Esqr & Majr Edward Dor

                   sey joynt in the said Comission, had administred

                   unto them the Oathes Appointed by Act of Parliamt

                   to be taken instead of the Oathes of Allegiance &

             Supremacy and Subscribed to the Test, as also Severally tooke

             the oath of Commissioners appointed for keeping the Great

             Seale.

     

              The forme of the Oath proper for the Chancelour, Keeper

             of the Great Seal or Comissionrs appointed for the keeping of

             the Great Seal of the Province of Maryland.

     

     

                      You do swear that well and truly you shall Serve

                    our Soveraign Lord & Lady the King and Queen

                    and their people in the Office of Chancellor Keeper

                    or Commissionrs appointed for the keeping the

     

             Great Seale.

              That you shall truly Councell their Mats Governr

             Province in all Cases wherein you are called to Advize

             to their Mats

     Whitehall Their Sacred Mats Councill you shall keepe so farr forth as
