D. in London or Order for Accot of Abraham De Peyster & Nicholas Bayard Ben ffletcher By this Publick Instrumt of Protest be it known & Manifest unto all People that on the Eight & twentieth day of Septem ber Anno Dom 1693. In the fifth yeare of the Reigne of William & Mary King & Queen of England &Ca att the Request of John Blackball of London Mercht J Porton Paul Notary and Tabellion Public Legally Admitted and Sworne Whitehall dwelling In London speaking to Richard Hutcheson Esqr I demanded of him if he would accept the Originall Bill of Exchange of three hundred Sixty & two pounds & Eight Shil lings sterl (the Coppy Whereof is aboue Written) he answered he would not accept the said Bill for Want of Effects Where upon I the said Notary (at the request aforesaid) have pro tested as by these presents I do protest as well agt L Copley drawer of the said Bill as al others therein any Wise Obliged for Change Rechange all of the Damages & Intrests Sufferred & to be suffered for want of Acceptance of this sd Bill This done & protested in London in presence of Henry Simith & Thomas Jones Witnesses Vera Copia quod attestor [Locus Sigilli] P Paul Not's Pubs A true Copy David Jamison Cl Conclll
