immediate care is to be taken (after an exact List made Lib. H. D. thereof) for Removall of the same to Ann Arrundell Town in Ann Arrundell County by Land; for the better accomplishmt whereof, it is further Ordered, that the Sherriffe of each County through which the said Records are to pass take care to provide Men, horses & other Necessaries fiting to Carrye & Convey the same accordingly; and that the Clerks now intrusted & having Charge of the said Records go with them. Mr William Dent Attorney at Law is Excused from Meet ing at the day & place abovesd appointed, by reason of some publick business which will call him away at that time.
County Ordered that the Commissionrs of the severall & Whitehall Court Amer- . . . ciamts to be respective Counties within this province dispose of disposed off the Amerciamts in their severall Courts by Law
by the Comissionrs imposed pursuant to the directions of the Act of Assembly of this Province in that case made & provided, notwithstanding a Reserve of the same to their Mats made in the late Commission of peace &ca to each County sent & directed.

Ordr about Pursuant to an Order of his Exncy & Councill of manner of Conveyance the 24th, of January last past severall persons thereby of the appointed to Meet at this place in Order to View and inspect the Records lyeing at the State house.
dell Mett here accordingly at the Councill Chamber. His Excellency being present was pleased to propose what manner of way would be best & safest for conveying the said Records p. 117 by Land, who made Answer that the best way of conveying the same will be vpon horses, in bags covered with hides, and that to go over Point Patience fferry will be the most con venient Road; Ordered therevpon that the Sherriffc of St Maries County provide sufficient Baggs, Cordage & hides to pack vp and put the said Records in, fit for Carriage on horse back, as likewise take care to have a sufficient Number of horses & Men for Guards against Tuesday next to Carrye them to Mr Beckweths house over against Point Patience aforesd And that the bags be Sealed vp with the Lesser Seal of the Province, And that the Sherriffe of Calvert County have ready at the day & place aforesaid three or four good Boats well mann'd in Order to Transport them over Petuxant River and there take Charge of the same and keepe strict Centinels
