care that the Sureties therein named be persons of sufficiency Lib. H. D. and Value and inhabitants on the place, And also to Endeav our to discover whether the Conditions of the said Bonds be performed and Certificates thereof produced, And on failure thereof that they be prosecuted And for this End if any ship or Vessell which hath Given such Bond shall happen to arrive again in Maryland you are to take care that Demand be made of the Master of a Certificate of such ships having discharged her former Lading according to such Bond, And if he produce no such Certificate within a convenient time that such Bond p. 89 be put in process without further delay And in all Cases where Bond hath been given to the Governor as aforesd if you can discover and make proofe that the ship or Vessell hath discharged her Lading contrary to her Bond such ship or yes sell is to be put in process, And if a Certificate be produced you are Enjoyned strictly to Examine the same Custom house London 15th Aprill J Butler D North J Buckworth Examr W Dickinson J Chudleigh

directly to Ann Arrundell Town, Oxford Town & Caecill County; Officers being there already Appointed

Came Mr George Muschamp and produced to the Board a certain Letter of the 7th of March 1693 from missionrs the Honoble the Comissionrs of the Custom house, London, Directed to his Exncy ffrancis Nicholson torship of Esqr &ca whereby was signifyed, that pursuant to &ca the directions of the Rt Honoble the Lords Commis sioners of their Mats Treasury they had issued their Deputacon to the said Muschamp to be Collector &Ca at Wiciocomoco & Potomock Rivers in Maryland, who accord ingly likewise produced the said Deputacon vnder the hands & Seal of the said Commissionrs Given at the Custom house London the 14d day of ffebry A° 169 3/4
