appoint a Comissionr to be there on the first Wednesday of Lib. C. B. October next to Concert & agree with the other Comissioners from New England, Virginia & Pensilvania concerning the same; therevpon Moved in Councill whether anything had been done therein vpon which was made appeare by Receipt the transmiting of 300 t strl thither, but that the long sickness; & death of the late Governor obstructed sending a Comissioner and that now it was thought impossible to send by that time.
Ordered, by advice in Councill, that the severall bring in & respective Collectors bring in their Accounts re of lateing to the 4d p Gallon Impost or of what other the 4d p Gall Im- publick Money belonging to the Countrey they have post in their hands, with all possible speed, for the per vseall of this board, Ordered, that the Ordr of Councill concerning the Rangers be produced here to Morrow Morning.
Upon reading a Petition of Thomas Blands for &ca consideration to be had concerning an Information exhibited against him, to which, he set forth he was bound over to answer at the next Provinciall Court; it is the Opinion of this Board that the Petr is not properly relievable here, therefore is Referred to the Course of the Comon Law for his Reliefe therein.

Present the Queens most Excellent Majesty in Councill.
Whereas the Right Honble the Lords of the Committee of Trade and Plantations by their Report dated the 15th Instant have represented to her Majesty in Councill that upon reading severall Letters from the Governor and Council of Maryland to the Committee dated the 14th of October, 21st December and 1 1th of April last together with Articles of Impeachment against Sir Thomas Lawrence Secretary of that Province upon which Articles the Governor and Councill of Maryland ac quaint their Lordships they had committed and confined Sir Thomas Lawrence and had dismist him from being of the Councill and Judge of the Provinciall Court. These appearing to the Committee no grounds for such proceedings although the allegation contained in the said Articles were true but
