paymt of the Duties imposed by the said Act, And you are to Lib. H. D. take Care that the same be Collected accordingly And that none of the enumerated Goods which shall be pretended to be loaden on any of the shipping that having Given Bond to go to England, Wales or Berwick and to no other place be vnder that Colour stollen on Board ships that have given Bond to go to England or Ireland or some other of his Mats plantacons and so evade the Duties Chargable by this Act; To which End it will be necessary for you & your Deputies not only frequently to Visit such Ships and Vessells which have not before lading given Bond to go to England Wales or Berwick & to no other place; But also where you find it necessary, You are with the Collector joyntly to put Men on Board to take an Account of the Enumerated Goods laden on such Ships, which Accompt you or your Deputy is at the time of Clearing any such Ship or Vessell to Compare with the Col lectors Entries & Warrants, And if you find any such Goods on Board for which there is no Warrant as aforesaid You are to Seize & prosecute the same according to Law. 6: You are to take Notice that the paymt of the respective Rates & Duties imposed by the said Act of the 25th of the King vpon the severall plantacon Coffiodities therein named which shall be shipt or Laden on Board any ship or Vessell for which Bond shall not before Lading be Given to bring the same to England, Wales or Berwick and to no other place doth not give Liberty to Carry the same to any other place than to some of his Mats Plantacons or to England, Ireland Wales or Berwick, And that notwithstanding the paymt of the sd Duties they are to give Bond to Carrye all the said Goods to some of his Mats plantacons or to England, Ireland, Wales or Berwick. 7: You are to take Notice that by the aforesaid Act of Navigation no Goods or Comodities whatsoever are to be Imported into or exported out of Maryland or any other of his Mats Colonies or Plantacons in any other ships or Vessells p. 87 whatsoever but in such ships or Vessells as do truly and with out fraud belong only to the people of England or Ireland, Dominion of Wales or Town of Berwick vpon Tweed or are of the Built of and belonging to any of his Majties Colonies or plantacons as the proprietors and right Owners thereof and whereof the Master and three fourths of the Mariners at least are English vnder the penalty of the fforfieture and loss of all the Goods and Comodities which shall be Imported or Exported to or from any of the said Colonies or Plantacons in any other ship or Vessel, As also of the ship or Vessell importing or Exporting the same; And if any Goods shall be imported or Exported contrary thereto, you are to make Seizure thereof as
