       Lib. H. D.    Taken into consideracon the appointing a day for

             bodies of the interring the Bodies of the late Governor Copley

             late Gov- and his Lady whereupon it was Ordered that the

             ernor &

       Whitehall Lady S d Solemnity Should be performed one the ffifth

       day of October next and that Notice be given to

             Majr Cambell, Capt Waughop, and Capt Greenhalgh to be

             present wth their Troope and Companys and that all things be

             gott in readiness Against that time pursuant to former Order.

      

               To his Exncy the Governor and honrble Assembly of Mary

             land now Sitting the 27th of September 1694.

             and George That your Petitionrs for these many years last past

              have been Confin'd tho more Willing to Dye then

                    live to put the Country to So Vast a Charge as our

             Eternall Imprisonmt will Create.

               Wherefore humbly Pray we may be brought before this

             honrble House beseeching yor Exncy And this great Assembly

             to Inquire into the Commission by which we were tryed

             whether there were any or no, or whether it was of Oyer and

             Terminer under that Seal, and as the Law directs & noe

             otherwise, and whether our present Circumstance may not

             Admit us to Bayle upon such Security as this honrble House

             shall think fit,

      

                                    And we will ever Pray &c:

               Resolved that the Attorneys be Consulted therein whether

             Persons under their Circumstances can be Bayled according

             to the Vote of the House of Burgesses

      

      

                       Sept the 29th 1694

               Council again Sate & were all present with the addition

             of the Honoble Edwd Randolph Esqr who being lately arrived

             out of Virga gives Advice of the ffleets being Sayled from these

             parts undr their Majties convoy.

               Ordered thereupon that the Sevrll Collectors give notice to

          this Board what time the ships bound for Europe now remain

             ing in the Province will be ready to Sayle to the End a day

             may be Appointed.
