Wee have sent you, our Sumons, we have received proposalls an answer wch desires a parley and personall Treaty, s'd Garrison between us and some of You
1 ffor Answer wee doe demand as in our Sumons sent. 2 That no Papist in this province be in any office Military or Civill as by their Majties proclamacon and the Laws of England. 3 And wee doe promise and Grant that You the Gentle men and Soldiers now in Armes in Your Garrison may return to Your and their respective homes or dwellings In Ord'r to we doe Assure You and them saffe conduct protection and Security for you and their persons & Attendants 4 And that wee will likewise protect you and them in the ffree & full Enjoymt of all your and their Just rights and priveledges, Equall wth the rest of their Majties Subjects ac cording to the Laws of England or the Laws of this province 5 These are our absolute Resolutions concessions and demands to wch wee dessire Your imediate complyance being utterly resolved against any personall Treaty about the premisses or any other Articles.
