       Lib. H. D. 2dly Yor petr finds among the Papers of Coll Blackston

             late Navall Officer for Potomock District Sevrll Bills of

             Exchange Drawne payable to the s'd Copley as Goverr and

             left wth the s'd Blackston as Navall Officer wch are now refused

             by the s'd Blackstons Admx to be delivered yor Petionr whether

             the Same ought not to be deliverd to yor Petioner as part of

             the s'd Copleys Estate by him Accomptable for is what he

             humbly prayes Advice in.

               3: It is likewise Urged by the Admx of the s'd Blackston

             That Yor Petr as Admr Afsd must Answer to her Their Majties

             and the Estate of the s'd Blackston for their Equal parts of a

             certain Pink called the Margrett wch was condemn'd for Breach

             of certain Acts of Trade & Navigacon alltho' Yorr Petr can

             find no deed or any other Title to the s'd parts among any

             papers of the S'd Copley nor indeed is there any conveyance

             from the s'd Collector for either theire Majties or his Owne

             part neither can now be, the s'd Collector being Dead,

             Whether Yor Petr can be made Answerable as Admr afsd for

             the s'd two parts for wch he has noe Title in Law or only for

             the pt that by the forfieture Afsd Accrued to the s'd Copley

             as Goverr is what he humbly prayes Advice in.

               These things he humbly Layes before yor Excency and

             Councill in Assembly being as he humbly conceives in the

             most Suteable capacity of determining the Same wch he hum

             bly prayes for the avoyding Unnecessary troubles to the

             Credrs and Children Afsd you will please to Afford yor Petr

             The Advice and direction in the prmisses humbly pray'd for

             and as in duty bound he shall Ever Pray &ca

          p. 63  Answer to As to the first article this Board can say Nothing

             the fore going to it the same lying properly before the Comissary.

             Petition As to the Second Article. Ordered that the Petrs

             Accot be made up and the Gentlemen impowr'd to inspect

             Coll Blaikstons papers to make return According to former

             Ord'r and that what is found due to their Majties the quarter

             part thereof be Applyed pursuant to their Majties Instructions;

             as to the third Article he is Referred to Mr Plater for Advice

             and that he give an Accot to this Board what is become of the

             Kings third part of the S'd Pink.

      

             Mr  Josephs Produced at the Board a Letter from Mr Josephs

               Letter about Article vpon directed to his Excency the Goverr and Councill pray

             Surrender ing that certain Articles enter'd into vpon the Sur

             of Matapany render of Matapany in the S'd Letter inclosed might

      

             be entered upon Record &ca Whereupon Capt Cood Coll Beale,

             Mr Cheseldyn & Coll Warren being sent for and Appearing

             and Coll Jowles then likewise Prsent; his Excency Demands
