Lib. H. D. wch Comands that noe Ships should be Cleared after the 13th of this instant Septembr Setting forth their being Stopt by contrary Winds and Bad Weather. Order'd therupon as it is hereby Ordered that Whereas there is noe advice as yet come to this province of the ffieets being gone out of Virginia the S'd Vessells be cleared notwithstanding the aforemenconed Order. Whitehall Ordered that George Plater Esqr their Majtes Collector and Receiver Generall write to Capt Pagan Mercht in London to provide and Send in by the first conveyance in a Man of Warr (if one comes) these following Arm's to the Value of Two hundred and fifty pound's Sterr out of the Quarter part of their Majties Revenue now Remaining in his hands but tht he be Silent in the doeing thereof by Reason the Governmt have not had time to Send at prsent Sevell Journalls home wch are now preparing.
Arms as follows Vizt Dragoons Twenty Dragoons Bridles & Sadles. Ten hand Arm's and furniture and Mortars such as the two Companys at Tangier had
&ca Sent sent them when my Lord Dartmouth was there To for in inquire of Sr Henry Goodrick or some other officers
at the Tower of the price and where they are to be had wth one hundred hand Granadoes fit for those hand Mortars and fluzces wth proper Wadding and directions how to Use them. Half a dozen Instrumts to try powder with and the rest of the 250 lb to be laid out in Granadoes Arm's, Vizt slung fusees Sanguind or otherwise fited the best way to keep them from Rust & Byonets fit for the Bore of these fusees wth large Car- touch boxes to hold betwixt two or three dozn of carthrages Whitehall and to Send good hatchets. The Cartouch box to goe upon one belt and the Hatchet & Bayonet in two hangers upon the Same belt and pouches to cary the Granadoes in.
Ordr about It being debated at the Board whether his Excency Sr Edmond Androse Comission here produced ought for England to have taken place there being found palpable con c tradictions between the S'd Comission and his
Excency's proclamation and if in case it Appear the Sd Sr Edmond did take upon him this Governmt illegally whether Whitehall or noe Sevrll ill consequences may not follow thereon; to wch his Honor Coll: Greenbery made Answer that they doe not find any person Agrieved but what they did was in regard to their Majties Sd Coinission and they believed the S'd Edmond came wrh a legall Coinission but if it falls out that they shall be call'd in question for it by the King he will goe home and
