Chancery & Ordered that there be three Provll Courts held Lib. H. P. Provll Courts Regulated every Year, Vlzt one on the last luseday in ffebry whereat no Jurye causes shall be determin'd aneother on the third Tuseday in Apll & last Tuseday in Sep tember for trying matters of ffact That the Court of Chancery sit the Munday following from the begining of each Court &
Appeales That the Goverr & Councili Sit the Wednesday &ca to the Goverr & after the Court of Chancery to hear Appeals & Councill Writts of Error, except ffebry Court when to be heard Upon Representation Ordered that the Court of Chancery begin not to Sit to hear any Matter Untill Whitehall Apll Court next, nor the Goverr and Councili to hear Appeales &Ca untill the s'd Court
Ordered- that the Honoble Sr Thos Laurence Secretary doe (by Virtue of his Comission from their Sacred Majties) find A Register in Chancery who shall keep a distinct Record for that particular Office & That the Clark of the Councill be Clerk to the Goverr & Councill for hearing Appeales &ca who shall likewise keepe a Seperate Record for entering all Such proceedings brought and determined in that Court, he being thought the properst prson for the Execution of that Trust. Ordered that the particular Offices be Alloted in the New State House to be built for to hold the Records of the Sevrall Offices Appoint'd. Ordered that all the foregoeing Orders Relateing to the Regulation of the Courts be fair Writt out and read at the next provll Court.
