    vinciall Court at the Sute of John LLewellin, wherein they plead Lib. C. B.

    ignorance and humbly submit themselves to the Clemency of

    his Exncie and pray to be dismissed from their further attend

    ance at the time appointed to their great charge & detriment.

      His Exncie by & with the advice of the Councill is willing to

    dispence with and they are hereby remitted from their Atten

    dance aforesd and the penalties thereby accrewing.

   

      Adjourne till to Morrow Morning 8 Clock.

       Sr Thomas LaurenceColl David Browne

       Coll Nehemiah Blackiston   Thomas Tench Esqr

       Coll Nicholas Greenberry   Capt John Addison

       Coll Charles Hutchins Thomas Brooke Esqr

    Kings Ordr Taken again into consideration the Order of King

     Sr & Councill vpon Sr Thomas Laurence's Petition, and

    rence's Pet the Act concerning Ordinary Keepers Ordered to be

      again taken into read, wherevpon & vpon mature deliberation, it is

    considera- Resolved that the said Act be set aside, pursueant to

    the Kings Comand, but it seeming to this board that

    the imediate utter vacating thereof by Proclamation, would be

    very prejudiciall to their Majties service and the interest of the

    Countrey; besides that it would not (as they conceive) fully

    answer the Kings pleasure in favour of Sr Thomas: Resolved

    that the publication of seting aside the said Act be at present

    suspended for some time till their Majties pleasure therein shall

    be further knowne, and that in the meane time the perquisite

    due for Ordinary Lycenses doe redound to the Use & benefit

    of Sr Thomas Laurence their Majties Secretary, pursueant to

    the Kings Order, and not to the Governor as the said Act di

    rects, his Exncie haveing been pleased (Upon first the said p. 10

    Order of his MajtY in Councill) to signifye to this Board his

    renunciation of any pretence or Clame to the same or any part

    thereof.

   

      Report of the Lords of the Comittee of Trade & Plantations

    vpon Sr Thomas Laurence Petition, together with the Kings

    Order thereon, is as follows.
