   Articlesof Ordered that the Originall Articles of peace

    Entered into by the severall Nations of Indians with

   &Ca to he thin Government be inquired after and put vpon

   Recorded in

   the Provll & Record in the provinciall Office & the severall

   County County Courts of this Province.

   Attorneys Ordered that the severall Attorneys now in Town

   consulted abt an In- be sent for to Attend this Board, to give their

  

   dians break Opinion about the Indian prisoner, who made his

   ing Prison &ca Escape, whether the same might be deemed a

  

          breaking of Prison according to the law of this

   Province; therevpon Appeared at the Board ifour Attorneys Whitehall

   belonging to the Provinciall Court, who vpon the State of the

   Case and pervsing the Act of Assembly were all of Opinion

   that the same was no breaking of Prison within that Law, by

   Reason that the Sherriffe gave him leave to walke out of

   dores.

  

  

   Indians The Indians again appear at the Board and asked

          to Surrender vp the said Indian King, being given

   asked to to understand that there will no advantage be taken

   surrendervp          .       .

   the Indian for making such his Escape, it being deemed no

   Escaped out breaking of prison by Law, who do make Answer

  

   of Prison Whitehall that they will take what care they can about the

          same or at least give Notice to the English if he

  

   should come into their ffort, to the end they may apprehend

   him.

                    July27th1694.

  

     Capt Jasper Hicks Commander of the King ffisher being

   Commandore was sent for into the Councill, who vpon his Whitehall

   Appearance, his Exncy was pleased to ask him, about what

   time he designed to depart out of the Province for England,

   and where he intended to make vp the ffieet vnder his Con

   voy, who made Answer that he designed to Sayle by the 13th

   of September next at farthest; and that he would make vp the

   ffleet at Point Comfort the Usual place.

  

  

   EmbargO Ordered that no ships be at present Cleared but p. 42

   13th of Sep- what shall give Bond to go down to Point Comfort

   tember to be ready to Sayle vnder the Convoy 13th of
