      Lib. H. D. Trustees and Agents who have already Used severall Methods

             of Discovery and also considered that it is necessary (for pre

             venting any disputes that may happen between the persons

             impioyed by them & other Discoverers, Coasters or any others)

             That their Mats abovesaid Letters Patents be Inrolled in the

             severall Governmts belonging to the Crowne of England that

             are comprehended within the Limits of the said Grant. In

             Order wherevnto I have by their advice Intrusted

                                  my Agent and Attorney for this

             Affaire and have transmitted Unto him a Duplicate of the said

             Grant for its Inrollmt in the Records of the Government of

                  And pray your countenance and assistance of him the

             said in pursuance of the Rights & profits Granted

             to me therein that their Mats intended favour may not be

             diverted nor avoided.

               I have directed my said Agent at all times to Give me or

             my Trustees an Accompt of your Exncies favour & Regard

             towards him that I may acknowledge the same and wherein I

          p. 22  may be any ways serviceable to their Mats Province vnder

             your care or to your Self you may Rely on

               His Grace having Comunicated this inclosed Letter to the

             Governr of Maryland—Unto Vs his Trustees in the abovesaid

             Affaire hath desired Us to acquaint you that Wee shall at all

             times hold Correspondence with you and Receive your Letters

             & informations for the advantage of his Grace and others con

             cerned. And Wee doe further acquaint you that Wee have

             Agreed to allow to your Self and others imployed by you out

             of any Wreck, Derelict &ca that you or they shall Discover,

             seize and secure one Tenth part of the clear profits thereof for

             your Encouragement in this service. You may at all times

             Direct your Letters for Vs to Sr James Houbions of this City

             Knt Sr
