Then appointed of the Comittee of Accompts.

Also appointed of the Comittee of Laws.

The house adjourned till Munday morning at eight of the
Clock.

Munday Ortob: 7th 1695

The house mett and ordered to be called over and the
following Members were absent Vizt
Col: John Hinson Mr Wm Frisby Mr James Saunders Capt
Richd Hill Mr Francis Hutchins Capt Willm Dent Mr Willm
Hutchison Mr Nicholas Low Mr Henry Hooper Mr Thos Hick's
and Colonel Willm Peirce.
Then read in the house his Excy the Govrs Instructions to
Thomas Tasker Esqr in Relation to his going to New Yorke.
His Excy the Govrs Letter to his Excy the Govr of New Yorke.
The Governor of New York's Lre in answer thereunto.
The said Mr Taskers Reporte to the house.
5th His Acctof the Bills of Exchange arrising upon the
Additional Impost of 3d p hogshead how disposed of and
assigned, and Chidley Brooke Esqr Receiver Genll of New
Yorkes Receipt for the same amounting to the Sume of 199lb
18s 1d being transmitted from this province for his Matys Ser-
vice and the Assistance of New Yorke.
6. His Excy Sr Edmond Andross Governor of Virginia his
Letter to his Excy the Governor of New Yorke Signifying the
Complyance of that Colony to her late Matys Royall Comands.

His Grace the Arch Bishop of Canterburys Letter to his
Exncy read in the house.
His Lordp my Lord Bishop of Londons Letter to his Excy
read in the house.
Resolved that a Bill be prepared imposing a Duty upon all
European Goods exported out of this province into Pensilvania
or Territoryes thereof that the same Duty be 10 p Cent to be
paid by the Exporters the Inhabitants of this province to be
