590 Records of Maryland Troops in the Continental Service Sir: —Please Pay Unto Mr. Henry Robinson the Sum or Sums of money wich may Be Due on finall Setlement with John Kinkead and his Receipt Shall Be your Discharge for the same from Sir your Humble Servt. Elk, May 31st, 1785. Wm. Hugg. To the Agent for Col. Lee's Legion for State Maryland. Same for pay due William Dowdie, assigned by him to Thomas Broom, signed T. Broom, May 30th, 1785. Auditor's Office, 23rd April, ‘87. I do certify That there is due from the State of Maryland to James Gillis' Admor. £18. 15s. due to the said Gulls as Trumpeter in Col. Lee's Legion, from Aug. 1st, 1780, to Jan. 1st, 1781. C. Richmond, Aud. Genl. Auditor's Office, 23rd April, ‘87. I do certify That there is due from the State of Maryland to William Crookshank's Admix. £15. 12 S. and sixpence for pay as Trooper in Col. Lee's Legion, from Aug. 1st, 1780, to Jan. 1st, 1781. C. Richmond, Aud. Genl. Same to the Administrator of Jonathan Short's estate. |
