of May Anno Dmi 1682:

The honble William Calvert Esqr Secry Coll William Stevens
Coll William Stevens haveing informed the board that Two
Indians of Tondotank under the King of Wicocomico being
guilty of hogstealeing upon demand made have been denyed
to be delivered up to make satisfaction according to the
Articles of peace made wth the sd Indians, Issued thereupon
this following ordr (viz:)
By the Lord Propry & Councill
Maryland ss:
Whereas his Ldspp and Councill have been informed that
Two Indians of Tondotank under Subjection of the King of
Wicocomico, guilty of hogstealeing upon Demand made have
been denyed to be delivered up to Justice according to Law
and the engagemt of the said King.
You are therefore upon returne into yor County forthwith
to take with you twenty men in Armes well mounted on horse
back, and goe to the said Towne there to Demand perempto-
rily the Delivery of the sd Indians to be proceeded against
according to Law. And for soe doeing this shall be your
warrant. Dated the nineth day of May 1682:
