You are hereby willed and Required immediately upon
sight hereof to summon John Bracher John Pembroke and
Philip Coomes of your County that all excuses sett apart they
and every of them be and psonally appeare before his Ldsp
and Councill at the City of St Maries on Tuesday next the
28th instant then and there to testifye and give Evidence
according to the truth of their knowledge in behalfe of the Rt
honble the Lord Prop" against Thomas Marshall of your
County also whereof they are not to faile at their perill Given at
the City of St Maries the 23th Day of ffebruary in the seaventh
yeare of the Dominion of the Rt honble Charles &ca Annoq

At wch time his Ldspp produced and commanded the reading
of a Letter from Capt Samuel Bourne viz

Hon'd St
This Day the Dutch Doctor being at my house and speake-
ing before Capt. Ladd, Capt Cleggatt, and myself that yester-
day be reed: a Letter from his mother at New Yorke who I
understand by him is the Interpreter of the Indians in them
parts who doth advise him to depart from Maryland for the
Indians doth intend to make a warr upon this Province, but in

his Letter noe time mentioned when they will come into these
parts. Soe Honored Sr According to my Duty to your Ldsp I
made bold to informe your honor of it, soe haveing noe more
at present but beg your pardon I rest.
