At a Council held at the house of the honble Philip Calvert

Esqr the 23th Day of November 1681:

The honble Phillip Calvet Esq: Chancelor Present
Coll Henry Darnall

At which time came Thomas Wynn of St Maries County by
his Ldsps appointmt and tendred his Accot of charges on
George Godfreys guard dureing the time of his Imprisonmt to
this Day upon which was allowed him the summe of five
Thousand four hundred and ffifty pounds of tobacco. 5450

Came James Pattison also by the same appointmt
and exhibited his Accot for charges of George God-


freys Imprisonmt and accommodacon at his house
which was modelled and thereupon allowed four
thousand pounds of tobacco
William Gwyther also according to appointmt came
and exhibited his Accot of charges for Imprisonm'

guard and accommodacons of Capt. Josias ffendall
at his house upon wch was allowed five thousand One
hundred and Sixty pounds of tobacco
Walter Lane of Sommersett County craved allow-
ance of four hundred and One pounds of tobacco

according to his Accot exhibited for the hyre of a
shallop to fetch John Bright and his wife (Evidences
against ffendall) from the Eastern shore, for provisions
for them and his owne wages he charges and is allowed

Ordered that George Godfrey be removed from Mr Patti-
sons house and committed into the custody of the Sheriff of
St Maries County there to remaine close Prisoner in Irons till
further order from his Ldsp according to the following precept

Maryld ss:

You have herewith sent you the body of George Godfrey
lately condemned to dye for mutinous and seditious speeches
practices and attempts with force against his Ldsp and Gov-
ernnt you are therefore hereby required to take him into
your care and charge, and in safe custody keepe him bound in
Iron untill such time as you shall receive further ordrs from his
Ldsp concerning him whereof you are not to faile at your perill.
And for soe doeing this shall be your warrant. Dated the
three and Twentyeth day of November in the sixth yeare of
