submit himself to the same and be received into your Lord-
ships most Gracious protection and Government most humbly
Offers to your Lordships Consideration that there is another
neck of Land between Saint Georges and Opoquenimmin
Creek, Bounded on the East with Deleware River, on the
South with Opoquenimmin Creek, to the Head thereof, on the
West with Bohemia Mannor and the Head of Back Creek,
and on the North with a Cart Road leading from said Back
Creek to Jacob Youngs and St Georges Creek, which for
some part thereof is yet untaken up
Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your Lordships
Consideration of the premises so as (in Lieu of the aforesaid
Grant to your Petitioners said Father) to Give and Grant unto
your Petitioner the last mentioned neck or Tract of Land
between Saint Georges and Opoquenimmin Creek aforesaid
according to the Bounds above Specefied to be erected into a
mannor by the name of Saint Austins Mannor as before upon
such Reasonable Rents and Services as your Lordship in your
abundant Goodness shall think fit, Reserving unto all Persons
that have already taken up and Seated upon or within the
same or any part thereof and that shall Own and Acknowledge
your Lordships Right and Dominion thereunto and Submit
themselves to your Lordships Protection Rule and Govern-
ment their Equitable Right Title and Interest of in and to any
part or parcell of the said neck upon humble address made to
your Lordship with such acknowledgmt and Submission as
aforesaid and to be Granted unto them (if your Lordship shall
think meet) as Freeholders of the said mannor.
And your Petitioner as in all Duty Bound shall pray &c.

Ordered by his Lordship and Council in Council sitting
that the neck or Tract of Land within mentioned to lye
between St Georges and Opoquenimmin Creeks be laid out
for and in the name of the Petitioner by special Warrant for
that Purpose to be granted him (the same being hereby
reserved for the same End and not to be taken up by, or
Granted to any other Person) and upon return of the Certifi-
cate thereof that patent Issue for the same with Reservation
of each Persons (Inhabitants already there Seated or therein
truly Interested) their Equitable Right and Title to what Part
or Parcell thereof they have taken up or Seated as aforesaid
under the Rents they now hold to be holden of the petitioner
as of his mannor of Saint Austens, by which name the said
Land shall be called To have and enjoy the Liberties and
priviledges of A mannor the petitioner paying or Securing to
be paid to his Lordship for the same as by the Conditions of
