said Sewall was forced to proceed without him, And after that
those vessells were seized, the sd Blakiston pswaded Capt
Allen to send boates and men to secure them, who finding his
Lsps Officers on board were disappointed, which gave greate
trouble to them both, and is the cause of his writeing that he
was prevented in the discharge of his Office. Some of the
said Vessells were condemned at a Spiall Court, and the rest
were likely to receive the same condemnation as his Lsp has
been informed, and a faithfull acct will be suddenly given by
his Lsps Officers to the Comrs of his Majties Customs, and his
Lsp is assured they will be also ready and able to cleare them-
selves in all pticulars, when they shall know and undrstand
what Mr Blakiston has charged them with, ffor his Lsp does
not doubt but it will in the end appeare some prjudice and ill
will the sd Blakiston beares towards his officers, for their
haveing detected some late abuses wch the sd Blakiston has
