to acquaint your Honors with, the which (to avoid too much
prolixity) He at present suspend, till next oportunity of write-
ing, which I beleive will be by Mr John Rousby (brother to his
Majties late Collector Mr Christopher Rousby) who intends a
voyage to London by the next Shipp from Pottuxen River, and
when he arrives will give your Honors a true and ample
Relacon of transactions here: By his safe conveyance I intend
to send a Duplicate hereof, as also the originall of that coppy
of the bond here inclosed, and by the same oportunity will
transmitt my duplicate of Mr Christopher Rousbys accots of all
the duties he reed: for his Majtie since my time, and what he
therein remaines Dr at his death, his said Brother saith at his
arriveall he will readily and punctually pay. There hath not
a letter come from your Honors directed to Mr Christopher
Rousby, his Brother, nor my Self this nor last yeare, which I
now mention that in case your Honors have sent or writt any
thing to -either of us, your Hono" may know the occasion of
such miscarriage I doe most humbly request and implore the
favour of a few lines by the first oportunity, that I may the
sooner receive your Honors commands, and may know his
Majties Royall pleasure, for reduceing the disorders, and remedy
of the smarting greviances of his Loyall Subjects, tradeing to
and liveing in this Province, the redress whereof will be well-
come tydeings, and will pticularly rejoyce.

A Lettr haveing been this day read at the board from the
Officer of his Majties customs in Maryland, complaineing of
divers greate Misdemeanors and Offences committed there; to
the greate prjudice of his Majties service, his Majtie was pleased
to ordr And it is hereby accordingly ordered that the Lord
Baltemore Propriry of that Collony doe attend his Majtie in
Councill, on the next Councill day, and in the meane time
have a coppy sent him of the said Complaint
