said Butler, and therefore sent him in the Comission for
Charles County meerely out of kindness to him and to prevent

further loss of time as in the Lettr is sett forth, to continue
him therefore in Calvert County according to his request they
conceive will fully answer his Lspps designe and Inclination
toward him; and therefore It is considered and ordered by
this board that the said Butler continue Clk of Calvert County
Court, and that Richard Boughton apply himself again to the
honble the Secrys concerning the Clks place of Charles County.

Taillor & Burges. Reference to the Councill

Referred to this board by the honble Coll Thomas Taillor &
Coll William Burges a difference betweene them for a certaine
debt claymed by said Taillor, of said Burges as security of
Robert ffrancklyn, late high sheriff of Anne Arrundell County
deed: upon which cause of action hath risen and the said
ffrancklyn & Burges bond putt in suite by procuremt of the
said Taillor.


Both parties Coll Thomas Taillor and Coll William Burges
upon their Honors assume to submitt themselves to the judgemt
and Determination of the board, and the more to confirm the
same mutually interchange a peice of Silver of six pence value
thereby binding themselves each to other their Heires
Executors and Adminrs in the just summe of two hundred
pounds sterl to stand to and abide the award and Determina-
tion of the board therein.
Mr Thomas Burford as Attorney for Coll Taillor and Mr
Kenelm Cheseldine for Coll: Burges admitted to state and
open the case to the board.
