Mr Dent should be bound with Dennis for them, but he

refused and told Haron his owne word was Sufficient, and soe
away he went, left the goods behind; and is all that ever he
had to doe with Dennis; wherefore if this be the true State of
the case, which he must be required to make out, you are then
to consider of the best and neerest way to doe him justice,
which I leave to your considerations, and desire that nothing
may be omitted on your part for the finding out the truth of
this matter, that if any erroneous proceedings have been, they
may be rectified according to reason and justice, all wch is
earnestly recommended to you by
London 21st Septemb: 1685. Your Loving ffriend

Resolved and ordered that the Clark of St Maries County
Court be required to transmitt forthwith to this board from
off the Record of the said County a transcript of the proceed-
ings in the sd Court Inter Dennis & Haron for the further
consideration of this board, and accordingly issued this foll.
prcept (viz:)

By the Councill ffebry 23th 1685:
Ordered that the transcript of the County Court of St Maries
County inter Haron and Dennis be immediately upon sight
hereof transmitted from your Record to this board.

Lynes for Escape.

Came Robert Doyne gentl high sheriff of Charles County,
and made complaint to this board against Philip Lynes gentl,
for haveing made his escape from his Bailiff especially author-
ised and appointed upon his serving a writt of Execution on
his body at the suite of Tho: Clayton of Leverpoole Mrchant
wherefore he prayes remedy from this board Empowering him
the said Doyne to retake the sd Lynes wheresoever he cann find
him within the Province wch was granted according to the foll
precept (viz:)

Sher. of Cha: County warrt to take Phil Lynes in any pt of the
Province
