Ordr for Execucon of Mary Axell.

Ordered that writt of Execution be directed to the Sheriff
of St Maries County for the putting to death of Mary Axell —
now in his custody for the murder of her Child, according to
sentence passed upon her by the Justices of the Provll Court
to be pformed on Monday the Seaventh day of December
next, she haveing had time allowed her for her delivery, plead-
ing her being with Child whereof she is now since delivered.

Ld Balt Letter to his Councill cone: Dennis and Capt Haron
employed by Mr Brown & Mr Sands.

I have been informed by Mr Browne and Mr Sands, who
employed Mr Thomas Haron in Maryland the last yeare that
there was an action brought by Edmund Dennis who lives in
Maryland, against the said Thomas Haron in the County
Court of St Maries, and that he proceeded to judgemt against
the said Haron, and tooke him in Execucon for 2917 pounds


of Tobacco, which the sd Haron was forced to pay, as appeares
by receipt under the hand of Joshua Doyne, attested by ffrancis
Lawrence. The cause of complaint ariseth from the Irregu-
larity of the proceedings which Haron hath given under his
hand to be very Irregular Erroneous and unjust, in regard he
alledgeth that he never was arrested nor summoned to
appeare to the said Action, but by combination with the under
Sheriff Dennis recovered the said pretended damages and
costs, Mr Haron pretends he never had any dealeings with
Dennis, save onely that Dennis came once into his Ware-
house, pretending there to buy and agree for severall things,
and soe the said Haron cutt them off, and insisted that one
