Lynes (against whom he had his Lsps writt of Execution for the
satisfaction of his legall debt, and charges due to Thomas
Clayton of Leverpoole mrchant) made his Escape, and fled into
another County without the Bailywick of him the sd Sheriffe.
These are therefore in the name of the Rt honble the Lord
Propry of this Province to authorise and especially empower
the said Robert Doyne or his Depty to apprehend and take
into his safe custody within in any part of this Province the
said Philip Lynes wheresoever he shall be found, and him
safely and securely keepe soe that he have his Body before his
Ldsps Justices of the Provinciall Court to answer and give secu-
rity for his charge.

Came Mr George Parker one of the Attorneys of Anne
Arrundell County Court and informed this board, that Mr
ffrancis Downes haveing presented himself with his Commis-
sion for Clk of the said County to the Commission" of the said
County at their County Court had committed to him the Seale
of the said County but the Records thereof not being pfected
were ordered to remaine in the hands of Mr Henry Bonner
the preceeding Clk untill such time as he could pfect them ;
