hereto annexed appeares.
Your Petr therefore being very sick and weake, and thereby
rendred uncapable of appeareing in person according to the
said ordr and noe person alledging any thing agt your Petr he
being cleared by the said County Court as aforesaid, Your
Petr prayes he may be discharged from the Tenor of the
said ordr And &c:

Cecil County Court pcedings cone: Swithin Wells.

At a Court held for Cecil County the 12 day of Novr in the
nineth yeare of the Dominion of Charles &c. Annoq Dom:
1684:

William Dare gentl. Gideon Gundry gentl.
Richard Pullen

Whereas Swithen Wells last Court abused the whole Court
and especially Edward Inglish gentl and was thereupon putt
into the Sheriffs Custody till he found sureties for his good
behavior and for his psonall appeareance at this Court; And
the said Wells giveing security to Wiliam Pearce high sher.
of this County for his good behaviour, and for his said psonall
appearance: And the said Wells psonally appeareing this
Court according to the Tenor of his bond, did then and there
acknowledge, his said ffault, noe pson alledgeing any thing
against him, was cleared by Proclamation and his bond surren-
dred up in open Court

Swithen Wells & Samuel Wheeler summoned to app:

Whereupon it was considered by this board that the Comrs
of the County Court had noe cognizance of any Complaint
brought hither, and consequently could not legally acquitt the
sd Wells or any other pson accused before this board Where-
fore It was ordred and command given to the sher. of Cecill
County to summons as well the said Swithen Wells as Samuel

Wheeler also of the sd County in the said Complaint also
charged, that all excuses sett apart they and either of them be
and psonally appeare before this board at the time of the
next Provinciall Court.
