Ordered that a Comon be drawne for Mr Henry Lowe
according to the above Letter.

Read and approoved of the severall Proclamations ordered
to be drawne the last Councill day (viz:)

Proclamo for dissol. the Assembly & appoint a new one.

Maryland ss: A Proclamacon

Whereas by Proclamation beareing date the sixth day of
March last past the generall Assembly of this Province was
prorogued from the first Tuesday in Apll then next ensueing
(on wch the said Assembly was to sitt) untill the last Tuesday
of this present October; which said last Tuesday in October
(on wch the said Assembly should again meete and sitt) being
now neere at hand, and noe urgent occasions or affaires
relateing to the State and wellfare of this Province now offer-
ing, wch might require the conveeneing and sitting of the sd
Assembly on the sd last Tuesday in October; and
fforasmuch as since the last prorogation, The Speaker
of the Lower house, & severall others the members
of the sd Assembly are by death or otherwise remooved
and disabled from appeareing at the sd Assembly. Wee
have by and with the advice and consent of his Lsps
Councill determined and ordeined, And it is hereby fully
resolved, determined, ordeined, published, proclaimed, and
declared, that the said Generall Assembly be, and the same
hereby is firmely fully and absolutely dissolved, And all and
singular the members of the upper and Lower houses of the
sd Assembly are hereby acquitted and discharged from their
appeareing and sitting on the sd last Tuesday in October
instant. And it is herby further published, proclaimed,
declared, and made knowne that Directions and ordrs are
given to the honble the Keepers of the greate Seale of this
Province for the issueing out of writts in due forme (according
to his Lsps Ordinance for the Establishmt of the two houses of
Assembly beareing Date the Sixth day of September 1681:)
for the calling & conveeneing of a new Assembly to beginn
and be holden at the City of St Maries on the last Tuesday in
March now next ensueing.

Given at the City of St Maries under the greate Seale of
this Province the third Day of October in the Tenth yeare of
the Dominion of the Rt honble Charles &ca Annoq Dmi. 1685:
