Haveing not as yett settled by Commission any one -pson
my Collector for the Entry and cleareing of Shipps & vessells
tradeing to my Province, And being assured by this bearer,
my Nephew Mr Henry Lowe, that he is fully resolved to reside
and dwell in Maryland, I have thought fitt to appoint him to
Officiate the Collectors place he formerly enjoyed; and there-
fore I hereby desire, and also Empower you to grant him a
Commission accordingly, and that in the said Commission you
take care it be particularly specified that the said Lowe give
unto you as my Treasurer and Receiver Gen" an accompt from
time to time of all dues and other thinges committed to his
charge as my Collector, and also that he give you such Bills of
Exchange as he shall from time to time receive for Dutyes and
Imports of Tobacco, which bills, with the Cleareings of the
vessells they relate to are by you to be remitted duely to
Deare Cozen Yr truly affectionate Kinsman
