.. his Accomplices, and accordingly warrants issued to the said

Sheriffs verbatim (mutatis onely mutandis) with a former agl
Roger Makeele &ca onely in the precept thereof, commanding
[the respective sheriffes of St Maries and Charles County]
instead of [all and singular the respective sheriffes of the
severall and respective Counties of this Province] and directed
one to the sheriff of St Maries, the other to the sheriff of
Charles Connty

Batson Edwd motion cone: Depty Surveyr place

Came Mr Edward Batson of Calvert County formerly
appointed Deputy Surveyr for Calvert County aforesaid, and
humbly mooved their Honors to a certain agreement for the
said Office.

Ordr to enjoy the same at 2500l p ann.

Ordered that the said Batson have exercise and enjoy the
same together with all the ffees profitts and perquisites thereof
to his owne proper use and behoofe for the space of one whole
yeare from the time of his being first assigned thereunto, for
and in consideration of the summe of two thousand five, hun-
dred pounds of tobacco to be paid to his Lsp the Re honble the
Lord Propry or other person or persons appointed by his Lsp to
receive the same to such use and uses as he shall think fitt.

Capt Jno Osbournes Comon confirmed

Ordered that a Commission for Deputy Survey7 Granted by
Coll George Talbott late Survey' Genll of this Province unto
Capt John Osbourne of Somrsett County the 17th day of
October 1684: and every clause thereof (except onely what
has been since granted to Samuel Cooper of the same County
be and is hereby confirmed.


Mr Edward Pye Coll of ffoote in Charles County.

Ordered that the charge of the Militia of ffoote in Charles
County be committed to Coll Edward Pye of the same County
and that he have Common accordingly in the roome of Coll
Wm Chandler deed:

Memdu in the moneth of June Anno 1685 was drawne up
an address and subscribed by the Gentlemen of his Lsps Coun.
