Examiner or Deputy Survey' Genr" of this Province, and that

he execute that Office upon such tearmes, and with such ffees
pquisites and profitts as were allowed and settled thereupon
by his Lsp in his conditions of plantation lately published
within this Province: Ordered also that all bookes papers
and writeings late of the said Robert Jones (and now in the
custody of his Exr or Adminr or else where) relateing to the
sd Place and Office of Examiner or Depty Surveyor Genll be
forthwith delivered to the sa Clement Hill or his ordr and that
all returns be hereafter to him made by the Deputys Sur-
veyors of this Province, as in such case is accustomed and hath
been done to the said Jones. Signed p ordr

Ordered that Roger Brooke gentl high Sher. of Calvert
County or his Deputy have or cause to be brought forthwith
before the honble the Justices of the Provinciall Court now in
Court sitting the two Prisoners to him lately committed by the
honble Major Nicholas Sewall, in ordr to their further prosecu-
tion and tryall whereof lett their be noe faile upon perill.

Gentlemen
I have recd: yours of the 5th of May by Coll Digges Servant
with the coppy of your late transactions with the Indians, for
which in the behalf of Virginia I returne you my thankes.
I likewise find in yours your greate forwardness to trye Coll
Talbott, and that you desire me to transmitt the evidences
and witnesses against him to your next Provinciall Court
being the 26th of this instant; I cannot but think you are mis-
