if with his Lspps leave and good likeing and that his Lspp would
permitt them to send over some men for that purpose where-
unto his Lspps haveing signified his consent & approbacon It
is thereupon ordered and resolved.
That the Nantecoke Indians have free leave and liberty to
aid and assist the Pascattoway Indians with what number of
men they think fitt to send over, and that Mr Charles Hutchins
provide them with a Sloope or Shallop and other necessaryes
for their transportation from the Eastern Shore for that pur-
pose, also acquainting them that the English intend likewise
to assist and protect the said Indians; and in ordr thereunto
have already taken care to place about thirty men in their ffort
for their Defence and Safeguard Dated the Sixth Day of
October in the Sixth yeare of the Dominion of the Rt honble
