Came and appeared Henry Higges of Cecil County accord-
ing to his Recogniza taken the 4th day of October last past to
save himself & his bayle haveing attended duely since the first
day of the Provinciall Court But neither the Sheriff of the
County nor Swithen Wells (who were both commanded to be
here) being prsent It was ordered that the said Higges be
again bound by Recogniza with good security to appeare the
next Provll Court, And that the Sheriff of the said County be
summoned also by the Coronr thereof to appeare here at the
same time before this board.
Ordered also that warrant issue for the apprehending of
Swithen Wells of Cecill County & Samuel Wheeler of the
same County to have them before the Justices of the Provin-
ciall Court at the next Provll Court to be holden at the City
of St Maries to answer unto what shall be then and there
alledged against them &ca and that summons issue for Mr
Edward Inglish and Mr Edward Jones of the same County to
testifie agt them.
Came here before the honble board Henry Higgs of Cecil
County planter together with Edward Inglish gentl his secu-
rity & acknowledged themselves to be holden and firmly
bounden unto the Rt honble the Lord Propry in the full and just
summe of thirty pounds sterl (viz:) the said Henry Higges in
the summe of twenty pounds and, the sd Inglish in the summe
of Tenn pounds sterl to be leavyed each his particular part on
their goods & Chattells Lands and Tenemts upon Condition
that if the said Henrys shall be and personally appeare before
his Lsps Justices of the Provinciall Court at the next Provinciall
Court to be holden at the City of St Maries, and shall in the
meane time well and truly abeare himself and be of good
behaviour as well towards his Lsps the Rt honble the Lord Propry
of this Province as to all and singular the good people of the
same Then this prsent Recognizance to be void and of noe
effect otherwise to stand remaine and be in full force power
and vertue In the Law
