The abovesd Horses and Cattle, I have taken care to be gott

together and that ffrancis Martin carefully looke after them, as
well as those I brought from Kirkes, thought it might have
been well (if the honble Councill thought fitt,) he might as well
have wintered them, as have hitherto had the benefitt of the
stock, according to the best Informacon there was ffifty two
head of Cattle carryed or driven to Kirks plantacon

John Kirk owned the killing of ffour heads of the afore-
menconed ffurlongs Cattle, and are as foll:

One three yeare Old Steere at Harvest .. 1
One Steere of Six yeare old killed at the ffall ..1

One Steere of five yeares old killed at the ffall .. 1
One Barren Heifer ..1

But Denyes the killing of any hogs although I charge him
with it by information that he had killed up his Stock of hogs:
he still ownes the Estate of ffurlongs to be his owne, and
would not deliver them as ffurlongs, but as Cattle that came
from ffurlongs plantation.
This being the full of what Cattle I cann yett heare of
besides these p Contra I had at Kirks planta.

Somrsett County ss: Novemb the 21th 1684:
An Inventory of the Estate of Edward ffurlong being all
that John Kirk will owne he was possessed of of the said ffur-
longs Estate to witt as foll.

Imprs One Chest with lock and key
One pattent of 250 acres of Land called Apes hole
One pattent of 200 acres of land called Prices hope granted
Edwd Price
Two yards of bristoll red Cloth
Two yards of broad Cloth very much Moth Eaten
Broad Cloth cutt out for a pr of breeches unmade up
One pewter dish, two pewter Spoones, and three broken ones
One feather bed and boulster conteining 64l
One old Coverlett torne


One yd 3/4 of Sletia narrow silk for a neckcloth
One frying pann
One Iron pott and pr of pott hookes
One Tradeing Gunn
One small Old brass kettle
