Cullen, James Bodkin, and Henry Exon of the County of St
Maries, that (all excuses sett apart) they forthwith be and
personally appeare before this board, to testifye the truth of
their knowledge on behalf of the R'honble the Rt honble the Lord
Propry against Capt Thomas Allen Commandr of his Majties Ketch
lately rideing within this Province: Whereof faile not, and for
soe doeing this shall be your warrant. Dated at the Councill
Chamber at the City of St Maries the 28th day of Novemb: in
the nineth yeare of the Dominion of the Rt honble Charles &ca
Annoq Dmi. 1684:

Being at the house of Mr John Llewellin about the 22th day
of this instant, where Capt William Wheeler afterwards came
in, I askt the said Wheeler how he did, and whither he had
heard any news out of Virginia, and he told me that he heard,
