I have taken the body of the within named Capt Wm
Wheeler whom I have ready as the body requires

John Llewellin Clerk of the Councill upon oath informeth,
that sometime last weeke, Capt Wm Wheeler, Mr George
Butler, and Mr Thomas Grunwin, being at his house, there
was some discourse concerning Capt Allen and Coll Talbott,
whereof he the Deponent (goeing to and again about and in
severall Roomes of the house as occasion called him) tooke
not soe much notice as to be able to particularize any part,
but goeing from his said house, and parting with the said
Wheeler in the field, The said Butler, Grunwin, and the
Deponent were discourseing of the insolent carriage &
behaviour of said Wheeler, And the said Grunwin in hearing
of the Deponent, said that when Mr Butler tooke occasion in
the house, to tell Wheeler that Capt Allen ought to have
applyed himself upon his first arrivall here to the Government
& acquainted them with his Commission, He the said Wheeler
tooke him up very short and said, what ? to a Company of
Chimney Sweepers, or words to that Effect and further saith
not.
