agt severall psons, that had robb'd the house of one widow
Salters, on Delaware River, and that one Ivory & his associ-
ates liveing at the house of one John Robinson in Worton
Creeke, thereupon left their Lodgeings, the said Robinson
(being also one) and leaveing his plantation and Stock) have-
ing stolen and taken away with him about ffourty pounds sterl
of the proper goods of one Lawrence, and the said Lawrence
haveing also procured a hue and cry after the said Robinson
for the same from Capt Jos: Hopkins one of his Lsps Justices in
Cecil County. He the sd Edward Inglish by vertue of his
Office immediately went to the sd Robinsons house and
secured in the hands & custody of the Constable what goods
& Chattells were there to be found, but being since dis-
charged of his Office he could not further proceed therein
more then to advise Capta Peirce the succeeding Sheriff
thereof wch he did but the sd Pearce hath not thought fitt to be
concerned therewith
Ordered that they remaine in the custody of the sd Con-
stable Ezekiel Jackson untill further ordr and that the Sheriff
of the County impanell a Jury of the Neighbourhood to make
inquisition thereunto

Information cone: Edward als Edmund ffurlong.
The honble Coll William Stevens Informs the board that one
Edward als Edmund ffurlong of Sommersett County was pri-
vately gone aside and hath been absent some considerable
time, supposed to be dead leaving behind him a good stock
and some other psonall Estate in the said County which he
conceives ought to be Enquired into; wch is the opinion also of
the whole board and thereupon passed this following Order,
