tick Depositions or other sufficient circumstance, that the said
Munns is guilty of what he seemes to be charged with, They
will further consider thereof and doe therein what to Justice
appertaines

Coll Talbott motion cone Xtina ffort.

The honble Coll George Talbott mooves to the board that
pursuant to his Lsps Instructions kept a guard of ffour men for
the Space of Six moneths at Xtina bridge, who had reed: sev-
erall attempts from the Inhabitants of PenSylvania That his
Lspp just at his departure did verbally ordr him the said Coll

George Talbott to continue them there for six moneths time
longer unless he himself should see occasion to the contrary,
He therefore for his better security prayes the opinion of this
board whither he shall continue the said Guard there, and if
they soe think fitt, that they would pass an ordr for that
purpose
Whereupon It was considered and

guard to be continued at Xtina ffort.

Ordered by this board that the ffour men appointed to keep
guard at Xtina bridge ffort, or the same number be there con-
tinued in pay as hitherto, for the space of Six moneths longer;
unless his Lspp shall in the meane time signifye his pleasure to
the Contrary

Came Edward Inglish gentl one of his Lspps Justices of the
peace for Cecil County being admitted, and informed against
one Swithin Wells an Attorney of the said County Court for
severall affronts and indignities in words and actions by him
throwne upon the Comrs of the said Court in Court sitting,
calling them ffooles, and ignorant ffooles, god damn their
worships, god damn them all &ca Seconded in like manner
by one Henry Higges then present
He also complained agt the Sheriff of the County for not
keepeing in his custody the said Wells when committed by
the Court

Ordered that warrant be directed to the sheriff of Cecil
County to apprehend and take unto Safe custody the said
Swithen Wells soe as to have him before this board the first
day of the next Provll Court also to summons Mr Edward
Inglish & Mr Edward Jones of the same County to Testifye
agt said Wells.
