Ordered that Special Warrant issue, to the Surveyor Gen-
eral or his Lawful Deputy to lay out for and in the name of
the petitioner the neck of Land according to the Bounds men-
tioned in the Petition and upon Return of the Certificate
thereof ascertaining the Quantity and the true metes and
Bounds thereof and approved of by the Examiner General
that Patent issue in the name of the Petitioner for the same
upon the Conditions of Plantation now in force within this
Province

At a Councill held at Mattapony Sewall the 12th day of
May Anno Dmi. 1684:

Coll. George Talbott sworne one of the Deputies.

Then was the Oath of Deputy Lievetenant and Commis-
sionrs to the honble Benedict Leonard Calvert Esqr Leivetenant
Gen" and Chiefe Governor of this Province administred unto
and taken by the honble Coll George Talbott, one of the
Deputys of the said Lievetenant Gen"

Instructions Powers and Authorities for our trusty and well
beloved Councellors Deputies and Commission" Coll Henry
Darnall, Coll William Digges, Maj. Nicholas Sewall, and John
Darnall Esqr

In case the Clerk of our Councill, or of our Assembly, or of
our Lower house of Assembly shall at any time be remiss
careless and negligent in the dischargeing their dutyes in their
respective places and Offices, or shall at any time behave
