the prmisses they give obedience unto our said Councill and
to all such ordrs and Commands as shall from time to time be
made and given by our sd Councill or one four or more of
them (of which one of our Commissaries and one of our Secrys
shall be two) soe as such ordrs and Commands be consonant
to reason, and be not repugnant or contrary unto, but as neere
as may be agreeable to and with the Lawes Statutes and
Customes of the Kingdome of Engld
And wee doe hereby revoke, repeale adnull and make void
all and every former Commission and Commissions, Letters
pattents ordrs and Authorities whatsoever by us at any time
heretofore formerly given, for the Erecting createing consti-
tuteing or appointing of a privy Councill within our said Pro-
vince or the Dominions thereto belonging, or for the createing
or appointing any person or persons to be of our private
secrett or continuall Councill there. Witness Our Self at
Mattapony Sewall the first Day of May in the nineth yeare of
our Dominion over our Province of Maryland, and in the yeare
of our Lord god One Thousand Six hundred Eighty and four,
on the back whereof was Indorsed (viz.)

Then were admitted and sworne Councellors of State and of
the privy Councill The honble Coll Henry Darnall, Majr Nichs
Sewall and John Darnall Esqr who haveing duely taken the
oath therefore appointed, have hereby full power and Authority
given to them or any two of them to administer the same to all
and every the person & persons within named and to the sd
place and Office appointed
Given undr my hand the day and yeare above written

His Lsp: gives the board to understand that whereas at the
Concludeing the last Sessions of Assembly, his Lspp: in the
prsence of both houses had Declared his Dissent to all and
singular the Acts of Assembly made in the yeare 1678: He
doth therefore hereby confirme such his Declaration, and
ordereth proclamation to be drawne for the publishing through-
out the Province such his Lspps dissent to the said Acts, except
onely such of them as have since his Lspps returne and arrivall
here within this Province, been revived or confirmed by his
Lspp, which his Lsp willeth shall stand and be of good force and
validity as any other of the Lawes of this Province. And
