Esq^r whom by these p^rsents wee constitute Authorise & ap-
point our Deputies and Commission" under our s^d Deare
Sonn dureing our absence out of our s^d Province, or untill Wee
or our heires shall signifie our or their pleasures to the con-
trary. Hereby Giveing and granting unto the said George
Talbott, Thomas Taillor, Vincent Lowe, Henry Darnall, Wil-
liam Digges, William Stevens, William Burges, Nicholas Sew-
all, and John Darnall, the custody Governm^t and Command
of our s^d Province as our Deputies and Commission" under
our s^d Deare Sonn dureing our said absence, And also by
these p^rsents Impowering, the said George Talbot Thomas
Taillor, Vincent Lowe, Henry Darnall, William Digges, Wil-
liam Stevens, William Burges, Nicholas Sewall and John Dar-
nall or three of them, (of which Wee will that one of our
Commissaries, and one of our Secretaries for the time being
be alwaies two) as our Deputies and Commission^rs under our
said Deare Sonn, to Exercise and Execute all the severall
powers and Authorities given to our said Deare Sonn by
vertue of these p^rsents here before mentioned. Given at

said Province this ffirst Day of May in the nineth yeare of
our Dominion over our s^d Province of Maryland and in the
yeare of our Lord God One Thousand Six hundred Eighty
and ffoure.

or any Two of them are hereby Authorised and Empowered to
Administer the same unto all and every the person and
persons within mentioned and to the said place and Office of
Deputies and Commission^rs appointed. Given und^r my hand
