us adjourned untill the first Tuesday in Aprill being now
neere at hand, and there being as yett noe certain place by us
appointed for the conveeneing and holding thereof. Wee
have thought fitt, and doe by and with the Advice and consent
of our Councill hereby ordeine declare and resolve that the
next Sessions of this present Generall Assembly shall be
holden at our City of St Maries on the sd first Tuesday in
Aprill next, then and there to Consult & Consider of the
greate affaires of this Province, and the State and wellfare
thereof. Wherefore wee will and command that the severall
& respective sheriffes of this our Province make publick
proclamation hereof in the most publick and convenient places
within their respective Counties, To the end that such of our
Councill as doe Inhabitt therein together with the Delegates
of the sd Counties thereunto elected and chosen may be and
psonally appeare at the tyme and place aforesaid in our
upper and Lower houses of the said Assembly to the end and
purpose aforesaid, and to consent to such thinges as shall then
and there by the favour of God happen to be by us Enacted
and ordered. Given under the greate Seale of our sd Pro-
vince of Maryland the fifteenth Day of ffebruary in the
nineth yeare of our Dominion &c. Annoq Dmi. One thou-
sand six hundred Eighty and Three.

An Additionall Comrs to the Keepers of the Greate Seale.

C: Baltemore By the Rt honble the Lord Propry
Whereas we have constituted and appointed you Henry
Darnall and William Digges Esqr Keepers of our greate
Seale of this Province, and that by the Oathes you have taken
you are not to affix the Impression of the same unto any thing,
but what you shall have warrt for from time to time under our
hand. You and either of you are therefore hereby Authorised
and Empowered and required to cause our greate Seale to be
affixed unto all things for the publick Adminrcon of Justice,
and the Managemt of the Government here, as well as to those
thinges which by your Oath you cann Lawfully affix the the same
unto. Given undr my hand and Seale at Armes this twenty
Seaventh Day of January One thousand Six hundred Eighty
and Two.

Memorand his Lspp Comanded Entry to be made in the
Councill booke of severall letters and papers delivered him by
Coll Philemon Lloyd concerning the negotiacon with the
Northern Indians managed by Coll Henry Coursey and him
the said Lloyd by vertue of his Lopps Commission to them
