more County or his Deputy
Maryland June pmo 1682 :

Some small Commotions in our neighbouring Collony of
Virginia lately on ffoote, and the particular affaires of this my
Province requireing my personall presence hath prevented
me from giveing you that meeteing at the head of the Bay
wch at this tyme I intended, however not to protract tyme or
any longer to delay the putting in Execution the ascertaineing
the lyne betweene my neighbour Penn and my Self to pre-
vent any future disputes soe much desired by us both as he
seemes to express in his Letter, I have by speciall Commis-
sion undr the greate Seale of this my Province sufficiently
Empowered the bearers Mr John Darnall, Mr Clement Hill,
Mr Alexander Dennett, and Mr Robert Jones persons of good
repute within this Province sufficiently armed with power and
Instructions, and hope they will meete with persons alike
Qualified that they may Receive the Quicker dispatch which
I recommend to your care and Discretion, and should have
been glad my Self to have been a Spectator with you of their
proceedings according to appointmt had my other publick
affaires permitted me, but I Desire that all ffaith & credence
may be given to my Agents, promiseing that whatever shall
be concluded on by them shall be ratifyed & confirmed by
Sr Your affectionate Servt
